Social/
Entertainment

Our social program provides monthly dances and quarterly events that our members can attend that allows them to have fun as well as develop new friends. Past social events have included Christmas parties, a Christmas lights parade and an Easter egg hunt. Our entertainment program provides an opportunity for the community to see how talented our members are. We have a ballet folklorico group called "Estrellitas De Dios." We have danced at various local functions in order to showcase our members' talents. We also offer a variety of arts & crafts workshops on weekends. Our members are in a choir group along with the youth group from the Nazareth Ministry at the church.  They sing at Providence Children's hospital, Basett Center, and nursing homes.   In the future, we hope to have  guitar and piano groups available for our members. We are also working toward having talent shows where our individuals can display their talents.

Resources

Our resource program provides monthly presentations that are beneficial to our members and their families. Through the use of guest speakers we strive to educate our families of different opportunities that are available to them. Also, through our parent support group members share and provide information to each other concerning programs or resources available to individuals with disabilities.

Spiritual

Our spiritual program is unique because we welcome members of all faiths. We do not discriminate against any religion. Members who choose to participate in this aspect our our organization focus on four core areas:

1.  The belief in God.
2.  Having faith in God.
3.  Gratitude for what they have.
4.  Helping those less fortunate.
